UGANDA

                                                     

We depart Indianapolis today for our 7^th International Heart Mission, but our 1^st mission to Kampala, Uganda.  There are 13 persons making the long trip from Indianapolis to JFK to Amsterdam to Entebbe in Uganda with the goal of operating on 10 children with congenital heart defects at Mulago Hospital.  The trip is roughly 7,700 miles and about 20 hours of travel time.   Uganda is a beautiful country, set on the equator with a population of 31,300, 000.  The capital city of Uganda is Kampala, which is where we will be working this week.
